The hotel can be found in the heart of Siófok, 400 metres from the shore of Central-Europe's largest fresh water lake and 100 metres from the railway station in the old Main Street. Siófok - the biggest town on the Southern shore - is a tourist and commercial centre, and the summer capital of the country. The hotel inherited its unique look from the historic past of the building with the help of the designer of the reconstruction. The hotel was renewed from a building, which used to give home an old Lutheran chapel and a former school. The famous Hungarian architect, Makovecz Imre - who designed several churches and the Hungarian pavilion at the 1992 Seville World Exhibition - made the drafting up. The building is a unique example of the organic style architecture connected to the early twentieth century but preserves its old characters.
