Butlers Town House ****44 Lansdowne Road 4 Dublin Butlers Town House has been our "labor of love" for some years now opening our doors to the public in March of 1997. We have painstakingly designed each and every one of our 20 rooms individually, allowing for each ones intricacies and quirks. The ambience we have endeavored to create is that of an old Country House however we have afforded the property all modern conveniences such as air-conditioning and modem points throughout. The irony occurs when you consider that we have achieved this in the heart of the city's Victorian quarter, on its most prestigious address and yet within walking distance of most, if not all, of its attractions both new and old. Room informationEach of our twenty rooms you will find well appointed with much time and effort spent on ensuring your comfort. You climb up into your bed like it should be, you are sleeping in two fold Egyptian cotton, like it should be and your pillow has been handmade to ensure it is not too small to sit up and read with and not too big that you cannot sleep with it, like it should be. 100% Irish wool blankets; ½ testers and 4 posters, not cold headboards; and an old fashioned gentle ring to your telephone not a digital monotone. Your air-conditioning is yours to control from your bed, your shower's power will refresh you and not trickle, bathe yourself with quality soaps and don't lose sight of home by tuning in to one of the international TV stations pre-programmed for you.
