From primary school to prime hotel The Chariot Hotel in Aalsmeer once housed the Immanuel School, and was bought by the Koster family when the school ceased its activities, and the property came on the market. The stately structure of the former Christian primary school, situated on the Oosteinderweg in the eastern part of the internationally renowned flower-trading town of Aalsmeer, was subsequently totally transformed to become the charming and contemporary hotel it is today. The building's facade still retains the style of the 1916-1917 period it dates from however, in keeping with owner Carmen Koster-Unger's love for character and a nostalgic ambience.
