The original 18th century country seat was destroyed by a fire during World War II and was rebuilt as a hotel in 1950, but by good fortune, the coach house, chapel and orangery were preserved. The bedrooms are situated in the landhouse and in the coach house and have been beautifully decorated and are furnished with classical furniture and charming fabrics. The hotel is an idyllic place for those who are looking for peace and room, as well as for those who really want to enjoy some culinary pampering. The tasteful restaurant with its classical oriented cuisine has a very varied and attractive menu card, which is updated every season. There is a fish month and a wild month with accompanying arrangements. In the summer there is a possibility to have lunch outside on the terrace or to dine and enjoy delicious dishes in a fairy tale oasis of peace. The hotel has a total of twenty-nine big rooms. As per January 1997 all rooms in the main building have been fully renovated and given their respective identity and charm. There are rooms furnished for conferencing and meetings.
