Travel information As from 14th of June until the end of the year a large will slantingly be cultivated for Marathon hotel and the roundabout. Because of this the entrance Eikesingel where the hotel has it's entrance will be closed off from today until the end of the year. Guests must follow then simply the yellow signs indicating `Marathon hotel traffic diversion'. You will get to the car-park at the back of the hotel. In the left corner you will see a sign (lighted up in the evening)indicating please to proceed to the front of the hotel, the way to follow and there the main entrance so you check in. From Heerenveen/Amsterdam/Groningen Turn off exit no. 29 at the A7 highway to Drachten-Centrum. Turn right at first set of traffic lights. Marathon Hotel is then directly on your right From Leeuwarden From Zuiderhogeweg into Drachten. Turn left at the second set of traffic lights. Watch out for the speed control cameras on this route! Parking We offer a lot of free parking places just in front of the hotel. If these are taken, continue straight on, take the first street left and then, until you are at the back of the hotel.
