Thorbecke, the father of the Dutch constitution. Nieuw Minerva is decorated in a friendly, Old Dutch style with a homely atmosphere. CommentsWe do not have our own paking-lot but you can park in the street if you purchase a daycard. This can be obtained from the central-parkingmeter for EURO 10.00 (24 hours). Another option is to park at parkingplace 'Haagweg'. The parking fee is EURO 5 for a day. There is a minibus service to the hotel from 8 am until midnight., | |

Hotel informationThe hotel has some luxury rooms, which are decorated with special interiors. There is a romantic room "The Rose room" with golden taps in the bathroom, "The Classical-room" with a bed in which king Lodewijk Napoleon slept, an "Art Deco" room with delftbleu decoration and a room in hunting style. The highlight is the "bridalsuite" where you feel like you are on cloud nine as well in the bathtub as in the bed. This room is completely decorated by the whisses of brides and grooms. In the center of the room there is the bathtub and a big hemelbed where above the stars are glittering in the night. Travel informationDirections from Rotterdam: From Rotterdam take the A13, direction Den Haag. Follow the A4, direction Amsterdam. Take exit Leiden/ Zoeterwoude-dorp/ Voorschoten. At the end of the exit turn left at the trafic-lights, direction Leiden. At the fourth traffic-lights turn right, direction Centrum. At the seventh traffic-lights turn right, direction Centrum. You go straight ahead until you cross a railwaytrack, you are now at Noordeinde. Take the first street on the left, Kort Rapenburg. Turn right directly after the first bridge (Apothekersdijk). Cross the bridge on the right, you are now in front of the Hotel. Directions from Amsterdam: From Amsterdam-Schiphol airport (A4), direction Den Haag. Take the A44 in the direction of Leiden/Wassenaar. Take the exit Leiden/Valkenburg. Keep following this road, direction Leiden-Zuid (donīt go into the tunnel). You are now on Morssingel, the road will turn into the Morsweg. Turn left after the railwaytrack. At the traffic-lights, turn left again back over the railwaytrack. This street is called Noordeinde. Turn left at the first street, this is, Kort Rapenburg. Turn right directly after the first bridge into, Apothekersdijk. Cross the bridge on the right and you are now in front of the Hotel.
